How Long Can You Keep An Apple Pie Unrefriderated?
I made an apple pie, with a lattice top, this afternoon for Thanksgiving and then put a little bit of butter on top of the lattice for a little extra shine (not sure if it helped though). Can I just leave the pie out?

Until you notice the mold, then trow it out. Or if you come out in the morning and find mouse turds in it then throw it out.
For the shine you use egg wash
no that pie is not shelf stable keep in the fridge for 3 -5 days
